The circle is complete!

The Arlberg region has been known for some time now for its pioneering spirit in the winter sports.

Numerous persons influenced the alpine ski-sport and its technique. Hannes Schneider is known as one of the most influential pioneers in this area, he was born in Stuben am Arlberg. His style, the legendary Arlberg-technique, brought the whole skiingworld to a revolution.

In the winter season 2016/17

a new chapter will be written:

With the new connecting cable car between Zürs and Stuben/Rauz, the in 2016 also new built Trittkopf cable cars I and II as well as the Albona cable car II the circle will be complete from Zürs the Trittkopf cable car will take you to the new interstation, the skier can take from here either the new summit station of the Trittkopfcable car II or go with the new Flexen cable car to the Alpe Rauz in Stuben. Once there you will be able to take the Albona cable car II to continue in Stuben. Additionally from the Alpe Rauz the skiers will be able to reach comfortably St. Christoph and St. Anton.

This makes Ski Arlberg the biggest connected Ski area in Austria, where Winter sportsman have 305 km Pistes and 87 lifts and cable cars to enjoy! All the destinations in the Arlberg Ski area are now quickly, easily and comfortably reachable on skies. On the same time a new and great Ski-lap has been created: the „Run of Fame“ this inreases the Skiingexperience by a maximum of 65 kilometers of skiing pistes!

This Ski-lap crosses the entire Arlberg and shows the entire dimension of the complete and connected Skiing area: from Warth in the north crossing Lech Zürs with the new Flexen cable car towards St. Anton/Rendl in the south this way the whole Skiing area of Ski Arlberg can be explored. For such a lap over the Arlberg, for example from Warth to St. Anton and back, will take an average skier almost a day to complete
