The Oberlech toboggan run
A light adrenaline jewel: the Oberlech toboggan run leads over almost 1.1 kilometres directly into the valley to Lech and can also be used in the evening as an illuminated run. The starting point is the Oberlech mountain station, which you can easily reach with the mountain railway – chairlift included.
During the day, families and friends whizz down the winding tracks through deep forests, while night rides add a special magic to the experience when floodlights bathe the track in glamour. Particularly charming: if you want, you can climb up to the starting point via the winter hiking trail – and enjoy the descent as a reward.
Tobogganing is not just fun for children: the run is also an exciting contrast to a day’s skiing for adult guests – a moment of pure exhilaration. You can hire toboggans at the hotel, the mountain railway will take you back, and one lap (or several) is by no means always enough.
Worth knowing
- Opening times: usually from 09:00 to 21:00 – floodlit at night
- Return: With a valid ski pass or ticket, you can easily return by mountain railway.
- Rental: Toboggans are available on site at the cable car station or sports shops.
